H is for Hydrangea
Living in the Pacific Northwest, you'd think I could keep a hydrangea alive. Hydra=water which we get enough of from the sky. I might have drowned it and rotted the roots, or it might have dried out in the one or two months when we get weather that we consider hot.
I took a picture of a hydrangea when I was out-and-about this morning, but it was too blurry. So, I took these pics at the grocery story when I picked up a RedBox movie.
I had a Hydrangea "Ayesha" which is quite unique. I had seen it in Pacific Northwest Magazine and I liked it right away. The flowers have round edges and remind me of partially popped popcorn kernels. The petals remind me of Munchos potato chips. I think I'll order one again and share a picture.
Sundays are a day off from the A to Z challenge. So, "I" will see you on Monday to pick up again (so corny). I do plan a post for tomorrow featuring a DIY project I did today. Yay!
