When Stripes Become Another Pattern

Something about this outfit makes me think about the 80s. Okay, the stirrups are a given. I think it's also the undersized vest. This burgundy sweater isn't a top I would usually wear with this vest. I'm glad I need to do laundry because I'm being forced to wear combinations I usually wouldn't wear.

See, herringbone is made from little stripes zig-zagging all over the place. My co-worker actually asked me where my stripes were and I had to point them out. Pretty sneaky, sis!

  2. ohhh I know what you mean about the 80's.. some of the stuff I like and others I have nightmare flashbacks of bad outfits and big big hair!!

    that said, I actually like this vest on you, its cute and like the color combo of grey and burgundy together... The outfit would look cute with some little ankle booties as well..!!

  9. I totally understand what you mean by the laundry situation ... I too discovered an outfit that I would have never thought of with the same scenario! It is nice though since I tend (just out of habit) to pair things together and to mix it up a little is always refreshing and creative. =0D
