Hemming and Hemming

I got these slacks sometime last year I believe, but I've only worn them a hand full of times--and for good reason. Before today the hem job was horrible because I hemmed them and I was too afraid to cut off excess material. So I measured the length I wanted and folded back the rest. It was a lot if excess. If I stood still, it looked fine. But once I walked you could see that I had sewn them about six inches up. Ridiculous!

Once I discovered that my dry cleaner only charges $7 to hem, I decided these slacks needed a cut and dry. Oh what we height-challenged gals have to do for fashion! Perhaps that explains why I often wear skirts and dresses. Cropped pants too. Well, cropped for others, just right on me.
